I was born & raised in North Attleboro, MA where my career choice was to work in a jewelry factory. I found my way to Los Angeles in 1971. Like many Angeleno's, I worked hard to create a life with more possibilities. I fell madly in love and then obtained my real estate license when I was eight months pregnant with our daughter. Unfortunately, when she was 15 months old, he and I parted.

With a baby on one hip, I stepped off the ledge into the fantastic surreal world of real estate. Birds tweeted everywhere I went, bunnies hopped and butterflies flew - the values climbed and then poof, the market fell. My co-workers Bambi and Thumper moved to Oregon and got 9-5 jobs, the competition thinned out. I now found myself face to face with the most formidable of creatures, here was r-e-a-l-i-t-y! I learned to work smarter, educated myself more, took on more challenges to further develope my sales skills. My experiences now include having sold a myriad of homes; from breathtaking view homes to historic Victorian, even a few that were inhabited by Micky & Minnie's relatives! Yes, the Buyer knew before they purchased. I have been attacked by pit bulls - La Canada can be dangerous, fallen head over high heels down a steep driveway and was once stranded with customers while showing a home for sale as it was surrounded by police and shook from the police helicopter overhead! They did buy, just not THAT one!

The horrible truth? Apparently it's normal for the real estate market to wax and wane, and in California - the pendulum can swing pretty wide. Life continues, people do not stop living indoors, families expand and contract, things change and when the house, the investment or the neighborhood stops making sense - call me.

I am now a middle aged, recently married, Realtor and there is no real mystery about why I sell real estate today. I need to work and I like to have fun. Lucky for me that real estate is a very funny business that demands a lot of work!
